Trump says Lebanon and Hezbollah not included in Iran ceasefire
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleUS President Donald Trump says Lebanon was not included in the two-week ceasefire deal with Iran, in comments to PBS.
“Yeah they were not included in the deal,” he says, when asked on the matter.
When asked why not, Trump responds: “Because of Hezbollah. They were not included in the deal. That’ll get taken care of too. It’s alright.”
Asked if he is okay with Israel’s ongoing strikes against the Iran-backed terror group, Trump says: “It’s part of the deal — everyone knows that. That’s a separate skirmish.”
