Trump touts Jerusalem recognition, calls it acknowledgement of ‘obvious facts’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleSpeaking at the UN General Assembly, Trump touts his decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and move the US embassy there.
“I moved the US embassy in Israel to Jerusalem. The United States is committed to a future of peace and stability in the region, including peace between the Israelis and Palestinians,” he says.
“That aim is advanced, not harmed, by acknowledging the obvious facts,” Trump adds.
