Two Israelis sentenced to prison for 2016 assault of a Palestinian
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA Jerusalem District Court hands down prison sentences to two men in their twenties who were convicted of assaulting a Palestinian in Jerusalem.
Yonatan Holtzman, 26, of Beit Shemesh was sentenced to two years in jail and pay an NIS 10,000 fine and Yishai Ben Abu, 20, of Beitar Illit to five months behind bars.
According to the indictment against them, the pair had stopped the Palestinian victim who was on his way home to the village of al-Walaja and cursed him and hurled stones at him before brutally beating him.
