Two more soldiers killed in Gaza, bringing military death toll to 27

Two more IDF soldiers were killed during clashes in Gaza on Monday afternoon, the military says, bringing the death toll of military personnel to 27 since Israel launched a ground incursion into the Strip last Thursday.

The IDF says one of the soldiers, Sgt. First Class Oded Ben-Sira, 22, from Nir Etzion in northern Israel, who served in the Nahal Brigade will be laid to rest at 5pm today at the military cemetery in the moshav.

He was killed by sniper fire in Gaza. The name of the second soldier has yet to be released.
