Two Palestinian teens shot dead by Border Police during East Jerusalem raid

Two Palestinian teenagers were shot dead by Border Police officers during an overnight operation in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Kafr Aqab.
The Palestinian Authority health ministry identifies them as Amr Marboua, 18, and Sami Mashaikha, 16.
Police say that forces operated overnight in Kafr Aqab “against hostile elements in the area who acted to harm security forces and create violent riots.”
During the raid, dozens of Palestinians rioted against the officers, including hurling stones and setting off fireworks, police say.
Additionally, police say that “heavy gunfire was heard, whose source was not identified.”
“The troops fired at four suspects who posed a real threat to the force,” police say, adding that they were evacuated by medical officials.
