Two-state solution confab to begin at 3 p.m. local time in New York at UN

The French-Saudi two-state solution summit will begin today at 3 p.m. local time in New York in the UN headquarters assembly room.
French President Emmanuel Macron will open the event, followed by a video address by Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman.
UN Secretary General António Guterres will speak next, then Germany’s Annalena Baerbock, president of the UN General Assembly.
Heads of state or representatives will then speak.
The event is expected to last three hours, and a joint statement could be adopted at the end, according to a French official.
