Uncle of Temple Mount shooter caught smuggling Palestinians into Israel
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePolice arrest Mahmoud Ahmad Jabarin, an uncle of one of the shooters in the July 14 terror attack at the Temple Mount that left two Israeli police officers dead, after catching him allegedly driving a vehicle with 12 Palestinians who were in Israel illegally on Tuesday.
Jabarin knew they did not have permits to be in Israel, police say, and helped them enter from the West Bank.
He is remanded until Thursday, when authorities expect to file an indictment.
