US intelligence indicates China preparing to ship new air defense systems to Iran – report
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleUS intelligence indicates China is preparing to deliver new air defense systems to Iran within the next few weeks, CNN reports, citing three people familiar with recent intelligence assessments.
The outlet says the intelligence demonstrates that Tehran could be using the pause in fighting to restore stocks of weapons systems.
Two of the sources tell CNN that Beijing is using a third country to route the weapons to obscure where they are being supplied from.
