War cabinet convenes to discuss upcoming Rafah operation
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIsrael’s war cabinet is meeting at the Kirya military headquarters in Tel Aviv, ahead of an expanded meeting of the security cabinet later this afternoon.
According to Hebrew media reports, the meeting will focus on the imminent IDF operation in Rafah, Gaza’s southernmost city where four Hamas battalions remain, and where Israel believes many of the remaining 129 hostages from October 7 are being held.
