White House: Kidnapped soldier must be returned
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe White House says the apparent abduction of Hadar Goldin would be an “absolutely outrageous” action by Hamas.
Deputy National Security Adviser Tony Blinken says the US strongly condemns the alleged abduction. He says that if the soldier has been kidnapped, he must be released, AP reports.
Earlier, White House spokesman Josh Earnest called the abduction a “barbaric violation” of the ceasefire agreement, and said it merited international condemnation.
