One dead, three injured in West Bank car crash

Fatal collision in the southern Hebron Hills region; victims evacuated to Beersheba hospital

An Israeli woman, 40, was killed and two others were seriously injured early Friday after a frontal collision between two vehicles on Route 60 in the southern West Bank.

A fourth person, identified as a young women in her 20s, was moderately hurt.

Initial reports by rescuers characterized the incident as an accident.

The crash took place near the settlement of Eshtaol in the southern Hebron Hills region.

One of the injured passengers is 18, according to authorities.

All the injured were evacuated to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba.
