Seven Palestinians were injured when Israeli forces opened fire at a group of Palestinians near the security barrier in the northern Gaza Strip on Thursday, according to Palestinian media reports.

Two were seriously injured and five had moderate injuries, Gaza medical spokesman Adham Abu Salmiya told the Ma’an news agency. The injured were being treated at Shifa Medical Center in Gaza City. Abu Salmiya identified most of the victims as farmers.
