A Border Police officer was lightly hurt Tuesday morning during violent riots in the Deheishe refugee camp, south of Bethlehem in the West Bank.
The female officer was struck by a Molotov cocktail thrown at the forces operating in the camp, a statement from the Border Police said.
She received first aid at the scene and was taken to a hospital.
Dozens of protesters at the site continued throwing rocks and Molotov cocktails at police. Israeli forces responded with riot dispersal means.
The Border Police force was carrying out an arrest operation in the camp when it came under assault by the rioters.
