House fire injures 15 in West Bank settlement

Fifteen people suffered smoke inhalation on Friday night after a fire broke out in an apartment in the West Bank settlement of Beitar Illit.
A 60-year-old man was moderately injured, and the other 14, half of whom were children, were lightly injured from smoke inhalation. All of the victims were taken to Jerusalem’s Shaare Zedek Medical Center and Hadassah Hospital Ein Kerem for treatment.
Fire crews evacuated all of the residents of the building and extinguished the flames. It was not yet clear what caused the fire.
