Three East Jerusalem residents were arrested Sunday on suspicion of encouraging a pit bull to attack an Israel Electric Corporation employee at a construction site in the Har Hotzvim industrial park. The man was injured in both legs.

One of the suspects, who reportedly owns the pit bull, sicced the dog on the employee during an argument. He was assisted by the other two suspects, his brother and his friend, according to Ynet.

The first was arrested when police arrived at the scene, while the other two turned themselves in several hours later.

The Electric Corporation employee, who sustained moderate injuries, was taken to the capital’s Shaare Zedek Medical Center.

All three suspects were remanded until Tuesday.
