An IDF soldier shot and injured a Palestinian from Hebron after the man threw a Molotov cocktail at an army patrol early Monday morning.

Palestinians threw a number of firebombs at an IDF post protecting Jewish homes in Hebron, and the soldiers set out to find the perpetrators. While they were searching, more firebombs were thrown toward the patrol.

One of the soldiers fired a warning shot, and then fired toward the legs of a Palestinian. The man was moderately injured and, after receiving initial treatment in the field, was taken to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, in Jerusalem.
