5 men shot during fight in southern Bedouin town
Paramedics take the Ar’ara Banegev residents, one of whom is in serious condition, to a Beersheba hospital for treatment
Five people were shot Saturday during a fight in the southern Bedouin town of Ar’ara Banegev.
One man was in serious condition and the other four were moderately wounded, authorities said. The five ranged in age from 25 to 41.
Magen David Adom paramedics brought them to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba.
It was not immediately clear what caused the fight. A large number of police forces arrived at the scene of the shooting.

The incident came after three men from the same family were killed Friday evening in a pair of shootings in the Arab-Israeli town of Baqa al-Gharbiya, near Haifa. Police opened an investigation into both incidents.
According to the Haaretz daily, 95 Arab Israelis have been murdered this year, the highest yearly tally for homicides in the community in 20 years.
