Arkia jet makes emergency landing at Ben Gurion Airport
Plane carrying 29 passengers lands safely after brake system malfunction is discovered shortly after takeoff to Eilat

An emergency was declared at Ben Gurion International Airport Saturday afternoon, after an Arkia Airlines jet that took off for Eilat reported a failure in its brake system.
The plane, with 29 passengers on board, returned to the airport as emergency teams stood by.
The plane landed safely and all passengers deplaned. There were no reported injuries.
The cause for the malfunction was not immediately clear.
