A synagogue in South Florida was evacuated Sunday morning after a suspicious package was found on its doorstep.

Police in Boca Raton, Florida cordoned off the Young Israel Synagogue and called in a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office bomb squad, according to ABC affiliate WPBF news.

Palm Beach County, north of Miami, is home to about a quarter-million Jews.
