A 6-year-old boy and his father were killed on Monday and the rest of their family were seriously injured, when their car collided with a truck in northern Israel.
The Magen David ambulance service said that the family’s 12-year-old daughter was critically hurt in the crash, while the mother and 14-year-old daughter and 16-year-old son were in moderate condition.
It also said that the driver of the truck was in moderate condition.
The accident occurred on Route 70 in the Western Galilee near the city of Nahariya.
In a separate accident on Monday, an IDF officer was killed when his car collided with a bus in southern Israel, near the Gaza Strip on Route 232.

The bus driver was reported to be in moderate condition as a result of the crash, while a passenger on the bus was lightly injured.
