A grandfather in the northern town of Ilut drove over his infant grandson on Friday, killing the boy.
The man apparently ran over the child accidentally while backing up his vehicle.
The boy was rushed to a hospital in the city of Nazareth, where he was declared dead.

The toddler was around eighteen months old, Hebrew reports said.
Police investigators were looking into the circumstances of the incident.
Since the start of the year, 287 Israelis have died in traffic accidents, putting the year on track for fewer fatalities than 2019’s toll of 330 dead, according to the Or Yarok nonprofit organization.
The lower total is likely due to decreased movement during the pandemic, which has included restrictions on travel in Israel.
