IDF raids warehouse in Ramallah; 6 Palestinians reported injured
Several workers at site arrested by Israeli soldiers, security cameras and other materials confiscated
IDF soldiers operating in the Batan Elwah neighborhood of Ramallah in the West Bank raided a medicine warehouse in the area and arrested several Palestinian workers on Sunday, including a secretary and a distribution employee, Palestinian media reported.
The Ynet news site reported that security cameras and other materials were confiscated by the IDF in the raid. It was not immediately clear what the target was.
There was no comment from the army.
Following the raid Palestinian youths began throwing rocks and fire bombs at nearby IDF forces who responded with teargas and riot dispersal means, six Palestinians were reported wounded, Israel radio said. No Israeli soldiers were reported hurt.
Israel forces regularly raid West Bank cities despite close cooperation with Palestinian Authority security forces.
