Boston students hold candlelight vigil for boys

Just hours after learning about the horrific killings, students from the Boston area gather at Boston University’s Marsh Plaza for a candlelight vigil in memory of the teens.

Several student leaders give remarks about the slain boys, and participants sing Hebrew songs like “The Whole World is a Narrow Bridge” and “Peace Will Come.”

The vigil was planned by student leaders from Boston University and Brandeis University, with participation from Israel groups across the spectrum (CAMERA, ZOA, J-Street, etc.).

On Wednesday, the organized Boston Jewish community will hold a formal memorial service for the teens at Temple Beth Elohim in Wellesley, starting at 7 pm.
