Media outlets opposed to Hamas in Gaza report exchanges of fire between Hamas operatives and members of the Strip’s Kafarneh family in western Gaza City. Footage shows a vehicle going up in flames, and according to some reports, Hamas has closed off streets in the area.
No further details are currently known.
The Kafarneh family is a large Gaza clan originally from the northern part of the Strip, and the circumstances of the clashes remain unclear.
