Clinton condemns boycott efforts against Israel

Clinton also addresses “Iran’s increasingly aggressive” regional expansionism.

“We all agree that Iran can never be allowed to obtain a nuclear weapon,” she says.

Is the deal “perfect? no,” she says of the accord, but adds that she believes it will help prevent Tehran from getting a nuclear weapon.

“How we handle enforcement in these early months will set the tone for years to come,” she says, so it must be “vigorous.”

“Our approach must be, distrust and verify.”

She says the US should hold Iran responsible for its human rights violations, cyber-crime and support of terror.

Clinton says there is the challenge of preventing a global anti-Israel bias. “We need to repudiate efforts to malign” Israel, she goes on.

Clinton states that BDS is “demonizing Israeli scientists and intellectuals, even young students. No nation is above criticism. But this is wrong, and it should stop immediately.

“No outside force is going to resolve the conflict between Israelis and Palestinians,” she says, “only the two-state solution will do that.”

She says she is “convinced peace is possible,” and Israelis and Palestinians shouldn’t give up on it either.

“A one-state solution is no solution,” she says.
