A hearing on the potential dismissal of Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara begins.
Diaspora Affairs Minister Amichai Chikli presents an 84-point document to the controversial panel, summarizing what he describes as hundreds of pages of allegations against the attorney-general prepared by Justice Minister Yariv Levin.
Ahead of the meeting, Baharav-Miara said she would not attend, issuing a stark warning that the proceedings pave the way for the government to remove her, or any future attorney general, on the basis of “unrelated and corrupt considerations.”
