COVID cabinet to meet Tuesday as serious cases rise slightly

The renewed coronavirus cabinet is slated to meet Tuesday evening and weigh reinstating some restrictions as cases continue to rise.
Prime Minister Naftali Bennett says that if morbidity continues to rise, the “Green Pass” system could be reinstated, which makes some activities and venues off-limits to those who are unvaccinated or have not recovered from COVID-19.
As of this afternoon, there are 2,425 active COVID cases in Israel, with 174 new cases confirmed so far today. There are also 35 people hospitalized in serious condition; last Sunday there were 24 in serious condition.
