Cyber authority probing potential data leak after hospital in central Israel targeted by hackers
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Assaf Harofeh Medical Center in the central city of Beer Yaakov was targeted by a cyberattack over Yom Kippur, according to a joint announcement from the hospital, Health Ministry and the National Cyber Directorate.
The statement says “the attack was blocked in its initial stages, but the possibility of a data leak is being examined by the relevant authorities,” while stressing the hospital is continuing to operate as normal.
