Dani Dayan walks out of Jewish Home
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleDani Dayan, the former head of the Yesha Council settler organization, who was elected to the 21st slot on the Jewish Home list, announces he is leaving the party.
Dayan says he rejected an offer from party head Naftali Bennett to move up to the 17th slot.
“I asked to remove my name from the list altogether,” he tweets.
Jewish Home has recently been polling at 15-16 seats, making the 17th spot a not-so-attractive proposition for a public figure of Dayan’s prominence.
