Delta to resume Tel Aviv flights as planned on September 6

Delta Air Lines says it will resume its route from New York to Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport as planned on September 6.

The US airline will restart services from New York’s JFK airport with a daily nonstop flight of the Airbus A330-900neo aircraft.

“The resumption of service follows a thorough review of the evolving security environment in the region,” Delta says in a statement. “The safety and security of our customers and employees remain our top priority, and Delta will continue to monitor the situation closely in coordination with aviation authorities and government agencies.”

American airlines, including Delta, canceled the route to and from Tel Aviv with the outbreak of the US-Israel war with Iran in late February. United Airlines is preparing to resume nonstop flight services from New York to Tel Aviv on September 8. Meanwhile, American Airlines has suspended the route through March 27, 2027.
