Dozens arrested in drug trafficking sting
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleTwenty-eight suspects have been arrested for involvement in drug trafficking and buying and selling illegal drugs, police say in a statement.
The arrests took place as part of a sting in which a police undercover agent operated among drug dealers and suspects. The agent gathered information on the suspects for a period of eight months prior to the arrests.
During the arrests police teams raided dozens of buildings, businesses and apartments in Jerusalem, police say.
The value of the drugs seized is estimated at hundreds of thousands of dollars.
