Dozens of cops attend funeral of Holocaust survivor
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleDozens of policemen attend the funeral of a Holocaust survivor, after the state fails to track down any of her relatives.
The 79-year-old woman was found in her apartment in Ma’alot two weeks ago, according to the Walla news site.
After attempts to locate the woman’s relatives in Israel and abroad failed, police sent local cops to the funeral, and dozens of other policemen showed up as well.
The woman was not identified in the report.
