Eyal Golan to perform in Ashkelon

Despite the rockets fired from Gaza in the past month, the Briza music festival is still set to take place in the southern city of Ashkelon on August 24-30.

“I’m coming here to hug the people of the south, and to be hugged by them,” says singer Eyal Golan, who is due to perform at the festival. One of the organizers says that thousands of IDF soldiers who fought in Gaza are going to attend the event for free.
