Fire at Hadassah Ein Kerem prompts partial evacuation of hospital
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA fire that broke out at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem’s Ein Kerem neighborhood has forced patients and medical staff to evacuate parts of the building.
The fire, which broke out in a laundry room, is now under control, the Fire and Rescue Service says.
The third and fourth floors of the building were evacuated for fear of smoke inhalation. No injuries are reported in the incident.
Firefighters are continuing to search and ventilate smoke from the building.
