Forces foil arson attempt
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIsraeli forces have foiled an arson attempt near a major West Bank checkpoint, the Defense Ministry says.
Surveillance cameras identified the three Palestinians setting a fire in an open area near the checkpoint to the west of Ariel.
Troops were sent out and caught them, the statement says.
A spate of devastating wildfires in recent days has been blamed on arson.
