Former PM Olmert offers to advise ultra-Orthodox parties in coalition talks
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleFormer prime minister Ehud Olmert, who was convicted and jailed for corruption, offers to serve as an adviser for the ultra-Orthodox parties in coalition negotiations with Benny Gantz’s centrist Blue and White party.
“If and when it is needed, if it is possible [for Gantz] to hold talks with the ultra-Orthodox, I would be happy to help the ultra-Orthodox find the right way to hold the talks,” Olmert says in an interview with Haredi news website Kikar Hashabbat.
