Freed hostage brothers Gali and Ziv Berman say they have a duty to campaign for the release of the remaining three deceased hostages held in Gaza, at a rally in Sha’ar HaNegev Junction, near the border with the Strip.
The brothers thank hostage families and their supporters for holding weekly demonstrations for their release, owing their release to the campaign.
“The road to rehabilitation is still long, but the fact of our presence here, in front of you, is proof of the power that we have as a nation and as a council,” he says, referring to the regional council on the Gaza border.
The brothers were kidnapped from Kibbutz Kfar Aza, which is under the jurisdiction of the Sha’ar HaNegev Regional Council.
“And now, after we have returned, we understand our duty that was born within us: to continue to be the voice of those who have not yet had the opportunity to return,” they say.
