Gantz to make snap trip to US for talks with Biden’s top security officials
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleDefense Minister Benny Gantz will make a snap trip to Washington tomorrow night for talks with US his counterpart Lloyd Austin and Jake Sullivan, US President Joe Biden’s national security adviser.
A statement from Gantz’s office says the meetings will include a “strategic dialogue” on the talks for the US to rejoin the 2015 deal limiting Iran’s program, and how to maintain Israel’s military superiority and regional stability.
The defense chief is also expected to present Israel’s plan for ensuring long-term quiet in Gaza after the recent fighting there between Israel and Hamas terror group.
