Greek minister vows to arrest those who vandalized Israeli embassy
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleGreek Minister for Public Order Nikos Toskas has spoken to Israel’s ambassador in Athens, Irit Ben Abba, promising her that the vandals who attacked the mission on Christmas morning will be arrested, the Kathimerini daily reports.
The anarchist group Rubicon sprayed the embassy with red paint in a pre-dawn incident yesterday, saying it was in solidarity with the Palestinians.
The report says Ben Abba conveyed Israel’s demand that the culprits be arrested and thanked Toskas for his efforts.
