The Hamas terror group has published a propaganda video showing signs of life from hostage Maxim Herkin.
It is the second video of Herkin issued by Hamas, after the terror group published a clip of him and a second hostage last month.
In the latest video, Herkin appears to be bandaged up. Hamas claims that he was in a tunnel allegedly targeted in an Israeli airstrike.
Last week, Hamas published a highly-produced propaganda video showing operatives rescuing a hostage — claimed to be Herkin — from under sand inside a tunnel.
Hamas has previously issued similar videos of hostages it is holding, in what Israel says is deplorable psychological warfare.
Most Israeli media do not carry the video clips themselves. The Hostages and Missing Families Forum has requested that media outlets not publish the video or stills from it until Herkin’s family has approved the publication.
