Hamas said set to drop Israel’s destruction in new document
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleHamas will reportedly drop its call for Israel’s destruction and distance itself from the Muslim Brotherhood, the Egyptian Islamist organization from which it originated, in a new document set for publication today.
According to Gulf sources familiar with the text who spoke to Reuters, the document also seeks to improve the group’s relations with Egypt, which has kept a blockade on the Gaza Strip along with Israel for nearly a decade.
