Hamas spokesmen not confirming abduction of soldier
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleHamas is refusing to confirm whether its gunmen abducted an Israeli soldier. This, after Hamas spokesman Moussa Abu Marzouk had earlier claimed the kidnapping, and said Hamas was holding a soldier alive.
Channel 2’s Ehud Ya’ari says Hamas clearly has decided it is not in its interest to acknowledge that it is holding a soldier, and also that it may not actually know exactly what is going on in Rafah.
