Haredi parties reject notion of joining coalition

PM Bennett earlier attempted to open a door for Haredi parties to join the coalition, saying he hoped to broaden its ranks in the coming months to ensure its stability.

Shas and UTJ quickly shoot that prospect down, saying in a joint statement: “The current government does not enjoy the confidence of a majority of the people or the Knesset and repeatedly harms the Haredi and traditional public.

“We will continue to do everything to replace it.”
