Head of women’s group criticizes Sara Netanyahu for calling herself a ‘battered woman’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleHagit Peer, the head of the Naamat women’s group, criticizes Sara Netanyahu for describing herself as a “battered woman” because of sexually charged remarks about her during protests against her husband the prime minister.
“Mrs. Netanyahu is not a battered woman,” Peer tells Channel 12. “This is a cheapening of the concept and Mrs. Netanyahu, who has visited women’s shelters in the past, knows this.”
