Health Ministry says 170 caught COVID-19 at weddings in a month, 35 in gyms
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleAfter being accused by lawmakers of failing to provide data explaining why gyms and pools have been closed, the Health Ministry will reportedly present figures showing there were 35 infections confirmed in gyms between June 4 and July 10.
According to Army Radio, the ministry will show data that during that time, 170 infections were confirmed at weddings, 21 in restaurants and six in bars.
The ministry will say that the origin of a significant portion of infections isn’t known, the report says.
