Health Ministry to push third COVID vaccine dose for those with weak immune systems
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIsrael will recommend that people with a weak immune system receive a third booster shot of the Pfizer COVID vaccine, reports Channel 13 News.
According to the report, Israel’s health system believes that two doses of the vaccine do not provide enough antibodies to those with compromised immune systems. The move will also allow Israel to use some of the Pfizer COVID vaccines that are slated to expire at the end of July.
The coronavirus cabinet is slated to meet Tuesday evening to discuss how best to address the rising number of cases.
