Herzog: Conditions of Holocaust survivors ‘disgraceful’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleOpposition leader Isaac Herzog says the government should “declare a state of emergency” concerning the living conditions of Holocaust survivors Israel.
“Minister Haim Katz revealed the shameful reality about Holocaust survivors,” Herzog says.
“It is a disgrace to all of us. The shame is even bigger for this government. A government that humiliates humiliated hundreds of thousands of people who survived horrendous atrocities, built lives here and are now hungry, and have to beg for alms.”
