Herzog on graft probe: I have total faith in police
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIsaac Herzog says he has “complete faith” in the police as he is questioned under caution over allegations that he received illicit donations during his successful 2013 campaign to head the Labor party.
“I went this morning to present my version at the request of law enforcement officials,” Herzog writes in Hebrew on Facebook. “From the moment that the existence of a probe leaked… I requested permission to respond so that I could put the matter behind me. I have complete faith in the law enforcement officials and I thank them for their respectful and fair treatment.”
