Hundreds of people are gathering at Hostages Square in Tel Aviv for what may be the final weekend hostages rally after more than two years.

An emcee leads the crowd in chants of “Until the last hostage,” and “Neither right nor left, the hostages above all else.”

The Hostages and Missing Families Forum said earlier this week that Saturday’s rally may be the last as the organization is greatly narrowing its activities now that only two deceased hostages abducted on October 7, 2023, remain in Gaza: Ran Gvili, killed fending off the Hamas invasion at Kibbutz Alumim; and Thai national Sudthisak Rinthalak, who was killed in Kibbutz Be’eri, where he worked in agriculture.

A spokesperson for the Hostages Families Forum said Friday that it hasn’t yet been announced whether there will be future rallies.

Gvili’s father Itzik is expected to speak at tonight’s rally.
