IDF confirms ‘limited’ Qalandiya raid aimed at ‘thwarting terror’

Amid foreign media reports about an IDF raid of the Qalandiya refugee camp in the West Bank, an Israeli military source confirms the operation, while insisting that it is “limited.”

“The operation is intended to undermine and thwart the organizational capabilities of terror groups in the area, expand the security forces’ freedom of operation following numerous incidents of violence during recent entries into the area, and increase security in the sector,” the official adds.
